Hi Dollyspringsteen
Your tale is familiar to me. You have come to the right place for support, stay with us.
I also used Champix for about six weeks, when I started feeling depressed after three weeks I halved the dose because I was so desperate to have all the support i could get.
Eventually when rock bottom I stopped using it. As such I am now on some treatment for depression.
The one thing I have learned from this experience is not to blame the Champix because it seems like a miracle that I have stopped smoking after fifty years and twenty attempts.
I was determined during this quit that once I started I must never have another smoke again. Therefore, I was not going to allow the depression to be a reason for me to start smoking again.
You clearly have the motivation by coming to this site after just two weeks back on the cigs. You have done it once and you can do it again, this next time just try to take it one day at a time.
There are people on here far more eloquent than me so please keep coming back reading and learning from them.
I am just eleven weeks in and taking pleasure in every day that I keep to my promise.
I will not smoke today and on Monday I start week twelve. Join us in the ride, we CAN DO THIS!
One day at a time
