Dori - I'm so glad you figured out your own 'formula' for keeping those nasty cravings at bay while you find new ways to handle those triggers you refer to.  You're doing great!  I'm sending you this virtual hug  ((  )) and prayers your way in hopes of good news for your Mom's test results after all she (and you) have been through regarding her health lately.  It's empowering that you're keeping this quit going strong.  It says a lot about your strength of character at this difficult time in your family life.  Good for you!  Roses is right about deserving a special reward : )
Roses - Yay for you!  You are doing so well - I do believe we have got this quit thing under our belts, don't you think?? Thanks for all your support in the healing journey.
I won't smoke even one puff of those vile things today!  NOPE. Not ever.

You're both right.  Life happens . . . whether it's boredom, irritability, sadness or whatever  . . . and a cigarette won't fix any of it.  Down to 6 mg. NRT today and so far so good.  Although it's abit of a slow and dragged out withdrawl, it's a lot less intense overall. Having gone down 2 mg. per week has made it a little more bearable.

I will not smoke today. N.O.P.E.!

Good pledge Dori - good for you for recognizing that smoking won't fix the boredom or cure your irritation : ) Hope the rest of your day looks up too.
Roses - you are smart to get in those Zzzzs and listening to your body - I bet you feel great today for doing so!
 I won't smoke today either  - NOPE!

It is now technically Tuesday in my neck of the woods - a good time of day to remind myself that I don't smoke and will not smoke - today, tomorrow or the next day!  I am so glad that I learned about NOPE - It really works!
