A great Monday morning indeed. Marching along with 2787 days quit.........good grief where does the time go; seems like yesterday that I joined the SSC and finally quit smoking. Life is good and to all you new quitters...........know that quitting can be done.
I had 18 crave-free days in the month of September, according to my cravings diary. That's way better than it was in June and July, when I had some degree of craving every day.
And I'm logging in this first Monday of October with 147 smoke-free days.
OK. I'm getting a head start on the Monday morning stats parade by posting on Sunday night! It's technically Monday, right? I'm here to brag on my 133 days of "smobriety," $685.95 saved, and 13 days of life added. Oh, what shall I do with all the extra time?
Good morning everyone; There's no telling where the money went ? Hmmm. Stats aren't rewards but it's nice to see progress. What matters to me is the nearly 9 months of life gained by not smoking that I might need to use someday. Excellent for us! Priceless. breather
I agree with you. The numbers on the screen didn't quite do it for me. It's nice to go into that tin and pick up that nice thick pile of cash. I've also "withdrawn" from it when I felt I needed to treat/reward myself either because I reached a milestone or I was feeling down and craving. For example, I took some out a few weeks ago for a pedicure when I hit my 2 month mark. However, I'm probably cheating a bit because I don't take money from there EVERY time I treat myself.
