This is going to be a hard day. I'm already cranky and nothings even happened. On the brighter side it would still appear that I don't smoke while I'm asleep.

Cheers

Rudy,
Your doing great.  At day 2, I was much worse than you.  You still sound somewhat logical and coherent . Keep it up we are looking forward to watching you succeed. Rewards are in order..
Cheers,

Thanks to everyone for posting. Almost done day two. I'm really getting cranky. I'm sure my family would call me something else. I even noticed on the way home from work my driving was more aggressive. I'm the exact opposite of a hot head but my fuse is getting shorter.

Cheers

Made it through that little fit. Having dinner now. Ham, baked potatoe and corn on the cob. I took Kiwi's to work today, boy, I must have ate about 7 of them. Walked to the store around 2pm and bought some sunflower seeds. Can't keep eating those. Way too salty.

Going downstairs for my after dinner coffee. This should be interesting....

Ok, I didn't use the patch. All most done my 1st smoke free day. The only reason I'm writing is because I'm going crazy right now. Holy smokes this sucks.

Cheers

Turns out I didn't really cut back at all. went through the half pack then had a few others. The computer room's clean & got a bunch of clothes out of my son's room that I'll take to Goodwill today. Time to re-read all the motivation on this web site. Thinking about using the patch on my quit date.

Cheers

Hi Rudy, Nice to meet you. Although I am not a big believer in cutting down I did read somewhere that if you use that method it may be helpful to skip the cigarettes you enjoy most, first. Say maybe at your coffee break or on the way home in the car etc.
By giving those up before you quit completely you may not miss them so much as to spoil your whole quit attempt when the time comes. Anyway you do it is great though Rudy. I'm rooting for you and I'm sure everyone here is also . Go Rudy !
