I'm glad I didn't smoke today because I can smell the deliciousness of my newly washed sheets...time for a rainy day nap ; )

I'm glad I didn't smoke today because I have yoga at lunch. When the instructor asks if I'm still not smoking, I get to tell her I haven't had a single puff since we last got together Thursday of last week. Woohoo!

And, now that it's later...

I'm glad I didn't smoke today because I've been having a blast at work - lots of exciting, engaging tasks and lots of belly laughs with coworkers - and I feel happy and free and have only even thought about smoking in the context of "Yay, quitting!"

Hey JoDee :) Thanks for the post.  Great idea.
I'm glad I didn't smoke today because I nearly caved yesterday since my 'quit buddy' bailed. You say that smokin' lunch guy today stunk!  Well yesterday my (former) quit buddy's smoke smelled terrific! I wanted to sit in her car to get a bit more 2nd hand smoke!  OMG  True Confessions here!  But I did not cave to the crave! Gulped 3 deep breaths of clean fresh air instead!  If I caved I wouldn't be able to celebrate my one month Quit today! Granted, I did pick the shortest month of the yr, but what the hay! I did it! NOPE is the only way : )

K, this is an easy thread.  Just visit once a day and say your number one biggest reason you are glad you didn't smoke today.

Today, I was grabbing lunch in the cafeteria, and I happen to get behind the smoker who went out to lunch for their fix.  OMG, it stunk.  Truly stunk.  I used to go for a car ride at lunch, because I never wanted anyone to see me standing on the street corner smoking a cigarette, so no one saw me so they didn't know, OMG, you stink, I stunk, but I always tried to convince myself that I didn't stink, no one knew that I smoked at lunch.  It is always amazing the lies you can tell yourself!!!!
