Sparky, I am so proud of you for making through stressful situations like that!
It tells me that you are making better progress this time, which is wonderful news.
Yes, be very proud of yourself, and how about giving yourself a nice reward too?
I am really happy for you!

Sparky,

It's great that you aren't using all of the stressors in your life an excuse to light up! Please be proud of yourself for that.

Best wishes to you and your family during this challenging time.

Sparky, good to hear you are doing well with your quit...and that you are getting to spend some quality time with your spouse.

I know what you mean as far as the smell of smokers..horrible . And what ever the reason is that we each quit, the only thing that matters is that we do, indeed, quit. I know my main reason is to keep from going outside in the cold and standing, I can only hope that my determination will not fade when spring gets here and it warms up...

Hope you have a great week and weekend.

Nothing real earth shaken going on in my life, but thought I would drop a couple lines to let you know my quit is going well.

Last  week we had a couple deaths in the family, one really close to my husband.  So we went to two memorial and funeral services.  Although it was a sad time, it was a time when we gather and share stories and offer support.  But, it made me grateful for not smoking.  Oh my, you sure can smell the smokers.  It felt good know I was giving hugs and support knowing that I smell good and free of smoke.

My husband has gone though his chemo and radiation which has left him very thin and weak.  So, we joined a gym this week .  We have always enjoyed walking, so now we can walk the treadmill or bike together and work those muscles of his.  We have walked when the weather permitted, but his muscles have taken a real hit.  Now we can use machine to increase our muscles. So this is a good thing and it all helps him and me.  Best part is we get to do it together.

The thought of smoking, I won't let it become an issue.  I just remember the smell and how awful it is.  I know I should be concerned about the other horrible things smoking can do, but for the now the smell gets to me.  You know the smell of people when they walk into a room after being outside

Keep the Quit
Sparky
