Hi Anjel, Welcome.  Think of the other quits as practice,  I'm sure you have leared a lot from them.. I know i did.
 The other thing that may be helpful is... especially in the beginning do this one day at a time.. reward yourself. Come and share with us.  Join the stats parade, the train.  Let us know how you are doing.. Shout out for help.

Anjel, welcome to the SSC!  There's a mantra here.  Never Quit Quitting!  It's the practice rounds you've had that eventually turn into freedom from smoking.  The Wright Brother's first plane didn't fly.  Thomas Edison's first light bulb didn't light.  Alexander Graham Bell's first phone didn't ring.  We don't learn from our perfections.  We learn from our mistakes. 

Go through "my program" and put together a quit plan.  Take what has worked in the past and plan for the future!  As my buddy Jim told me, Preparation is key to success!  Set up your quit meter and add it to your posts from under "my profile" and select "add my quit meter to my posts".  Read, read, and read some more.  There is a wealth of experience and advice here at the SSC, so use the search feature to look up topics affecting your quit.  You're 24 hours smoke free now.  Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, even one craving at a time if you need.  And if you do get a major craving, post here and wait for 5 responses before acting on it.  By the time you receive 5 responses, the crave will be gone! 
And don't forget about rewards.  Something small for each passed craving.  Medium sized reward for each smoke free day.  And a larger reward for each smoke free week!  Treat yourself like royalty since this quit is all about YOU!!!  We're all rooting for your success!

Hi,
I've been down this road too many times to count, cold turkey, patches, gum and lozenges, which led me back to smoking.  This is my first 24 hours without a smoke using the lozenge, and I don't have any cravings or symptoms, which is a very good thing, I don't think my will is strong enough to make it on my own.  It seems everytime I quit and come back my will power decreases, so I am hoping that this time I will stay smoke-free for a very long long time.
