Thanks Mel, where there is a will there is a way! (Bit like quitting smoking really)
Hey Duffis, yes, the match was exciting, and intriguing!
England created the most chances but if you don't stick the ball in the net when you get the chance, you don't win.
The US battled hard and should be given great credit for that. I never underestimated the US team and I am not surprised by the result, a tad disappointed that England didn't win, obviously, but I have always thought that both teams would qualify from Group C and having seen the Algeria v Slovenia match yesterday, nothing has changed my mind. We should move forward together.
From a relationship point of view, the draw was the perfect result as Luna is really getting this "soccer thing" now and could hardly watch the final 15 minutes of the game for fear of an England winner. Needless to say she was happy to hear the final whistle and I was happy for her!
Stick with the tournament Duffis, there is more fun and excitement to come.
And so to Friday.....................
Best Wishes to You & Yours
