Hello, My name is Diana & I'm 42. I quit Monday night after smoking just over a year after six years smoke free, I have smoked 16 years all together. I started again because of anxiety that is gone now due to medication. I'm using NRT losengers and yesterday was HELL. I went to bed at 9pm and cried myself to sleep. I don't remember other occasions of quitting being as bad as now, but today is a little better. Twice before I was pregnant when I quit smoking, so I had a great motivator, but alas, my child bearing days are over. The other time, I went to a support group at the lung association, which was quite helpful. I know I can quit, but I have a problem staying quit forever. I hope this website will help me out.
