Wow, never visualized what 10K cigarettes would look like. Or 1K, 5K, 100K for that matter. Isn't it amazing that if someone would have shown you that pic a year ago, chances are you would have shrugged it of with a "whatever"... And look at you now Dave... Looking ahead to a great life smokeless, healthier, happier... the new improved version of you...
Thank you for your success story! As you said: it is the proof that some of us need that it can be done!
Keep the quit
Cristina

A picture is definitely worth a thousand words in this case.

Congratulations on all of your achievements! You should be very proud of yourself.

That's a lot of smokes.  I feel a strange sadness for the poor sprog posed in front of it...part of me is wondering whether the photographer said 'hey go stand over there' around a cig hanging from the corner of his/her mouth!!

That display really hits home. That looks like an awful lot of cigarettes. Congrats on passing them up, Impalamania.

Dave, isn't it a great feeling to know that you haven't smoked 10,000+ cigs?  I know when I first hit 10,000 I was embarrassed, boy did I smoke alot!  But the joy soon came as I know that was 10,000 coffin sticks I hadn't put in my mouth.  336 smoke free days isn't shabby either!  You have about a month to plan your one year reward!!!  Congratulations!!!

I just realized that I have NOT smoked 10,000 cigarettes so far this year.  I am so proud of this accomplishment and am living proof that this habit can be changed.

This photo from China Daily illustrates a glass container filled with 10,000 cigarettes intended to raise people's awareness of the harm of smoking.

If I can do it, you can too!  Be proud you are a non-smoker!!!

Keep the Quit,

Dave
