Not great at looking for support

14 years ago 0 1 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi all,

In day three of this quit, the first attempt in many years, and decided to join up this site having read many of the excellent posts here. This in itself I see as a positive move as I'm not a great joiner and tend to rely on my own resources in almost everything I do but when it comes to breaking this habit (of 27 years) I realise that I need all the support I can get.
This is a bit of a spontaneous quit in that I had no planned quit date, just a promise to myself over the last couple of months that I was going to stop. I have nurtured this thought over the last while until it became strong enough a week ago. I bought some NRT patches and then waited another week to make sure. And now its day three.
Looking forward to getting to know some of the people here.
Tim
