       Got a few of them in my garden beds!  Anyways, on your IM problems...  you have to add people as "quit buddies"...  there's a button under everyone's information on the left hand side that says "Add to Buddy List".  Click on that to add the person you want to IM.   I'm the one you've been writing to, but since it isn't showing up, you'll probably need to add me to your buddy list in order for you to see the conversation!  Hope this helps!   I'm usually "launched" onto the im daily during the week.
 
     On a more important note....  it looks like you're off to a real great start on your quit!!!  Keep posting and reading and navigating your way around here!  It'll take a while to figure everything out, but I have faith that you can do it!

Nice idea with the flowers!  When you go into the forum, click the launch button that you see and this will open up your IM Messenger.  This is where your buddies are added.

Yeah for us...10 days!!!!! Good for you, glad to see you treated yourself to the show (what did you see?), no smoke breaks....Congratulations. My reward yesterday was to buy more flowers for my balcony. I had terrible cravings for something salty last night but I didn't give in and I am proud of myself.
I tend to be sleeping quite a bit but I guess that is good...no cravings then! I added you to my Buddy List...where the heck is my Buddy List??? lol
Good luck to everyone today. Keep patting yourself on the back, we deserve it!!! Every day smoke free is a major accomplishment. My reward today? Hmm, I think I will clean my apartment...get a life Trillium! lol

Treated myself to an evening at the movies last night and not once did I even think about smoking... didn't need to sneak out and sneak back in smelling of smoke...

Thanks so much Jan. I am just amazed at the support on this site and I welcome it. It is so reassuring to know we are not in this alone.
I am so hungry and worried that I will put on pounds that I don't need or want. I have been trying to cut down my calories as well as not smoke and it is tough. I have healthy food in the fridge but right now I want something salty...chips, anything! I am drinking water but I still have this awful craving! At least when I am typing my hands are busy and not stuffing my face! lol I am going to go to bed soon...I am sure I will be dreaming CHIPS!! 
Your two beagles are so cute, I am a dog lover as well and Mommy to a little pug X.

You two are doing great.  Rock gave you some wonderful advice, can't add much more.  But there was a quitter here that use to by old dishes and smashed them when she was having a bad day.  Never did it myself but is sure sounds like fun   Just keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine.  Remember just don't smoke and you will alway be a quitter.
