Hi  I'm new not only here but to not smoking. Ive been smoking since i was 12 or 13. Not sure i can do this. I ran out of cigs. on monday night now normally i would have hopped in my car and drove the 15 min it takes just to get to the store to buy some more but i had a couple drinks and decided i would get thru until tuesday. And I did.
Then on Tuesday i reallized i didn't have enough gas to get to the store so I asked my husband to bring me some. Well he did but not until he got home @ 6:30 pm. I realized i had already gone 18 hrs. without a cig. WOW! I couldn't believe it. I still have not opened the cigs. It is now Thrus. and has been 57 hrs. since my last puff.   I am having alot of trouble dealing with the cravings and withdrawl. I want one so bad. I honestly did not intend on quitting. I have talked about it before but always talked myself out of it. I just thought this time I can really do this since i basically already started. Not 100% sure i can make it but I really am trying. Maybe with a little help and alot of luck i can actuallly be smoke free. WOW!
How long do these terrible cravings and withdrawl syptoms last????
