Day 19-Checking in

15 years ago 0 49 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everyone, I just wanted to tell everybody that today has been the best day that I've had since quitting. I have kept my eyes open and have been able to get some housework done. My head feels clear and I sang in my car all the way to work. I have wanted to give in soooo many times but I'm so glad that I kept the quit. This one day has been worth all the days of not smoking!!!  I am still coughing some but what I'm coughing up is getting clearer and clearer. It is darker in the am when I first get up. I keep a bottle of water with me all the time, night and day. I slept pretty decent last night too. I had been getting up every hour on the hour and last night I only woke up once. Awesome!!! My head itches sometimes but who cares. I am so glad that I decided to do this for myself. I always said "I can't quit, I'm adicted", but I think the biggest thing in quitting is believing that you can do it and finding folks like you who will cheer you on. What do you guys think?
