Being on the other side of that.. no.. no withdrawl. My mom used to smoke in the house. We kicked her out a few years before I left. Loved it, and didn't miss the second hand smoke. The second hand stuff can be more gastly than sucking one down. Although I never figured out why I started smoking when I hated it as a kid.
My Milage:
My Quit Date: 4/3/2009 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 56 Amount Saved: $28.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 58 Seconds: 50
I was wondering do people who inhale second-hand smoke go through withdrawl when the smoker quits? I've noticed my 4yr old no longers sounds congested in her sleep. So it made me go hmm, if I'm going through it is it possoable she is?
Myth: Smoking in the house and car is only affecting me.
Fact : Non-smokers who live with smokers (including kids) have two to three times the risk of cancer as non-smokers who live in a smoke-free house. In the US alone, an estimated 35,000 nonsmokers die from coronary health disease as a direct result of exposure to secondhand smoke.
