Welcome back Kristi!  My condolences.  I have to agree that there is one more angel looking down over you now.  As for coming back, you know what works, you know what doesn't work.  Go back through "my program" so you are 110% prepared for this quit.  Take it one day at a time, keep telling yourself N.O.P.E.  You know we are all here for you, and we are all rooting for your success!

I'm sorry for your Dad. My prayers are with you. You will prevail, I'm sure. Keep your ice water on hand; it helps a lot.
Stay close to the Forum, and read and post; it helps a lot!

A lot has happened since I was last here.  I lost my dad Feb 1st and feel as if I have matured quite a bit since losing him.  I don't know why, maybe knowing he is up there watching me and I want to make sure he is proud when he sees how I'm living my life.  So, I have straightened up some other areas in my life that were unorganized and now I'm hitting the "biggie".  I am cautiously excited, as it is now 2:17 and I have not smoked today.  I bought a new batch of patches and I am going to follow the step down program to a T.  I will be 35 in August and have promised myself that I would quit before I turned 35.  I have a new approach this time.  My mind is clear and set on what has to be done and needs to be done.  And I know that I will feel better every day just knowing that I am accomplishing my goal one minute at a time.  I know it will not be easy, but nothing worth having is.

Thanks for letting me in on your wonderful support!
Kristi
