Thanks Y'all.  All of y'alls encouragement has been VERY helpful!   I have been meaning to get my car cleaned, but I need to get my house cleaned first. I hate living in a house that is nasty.  ER took up my night last night and is taking up my morning reading everyone's thoughts on the final show.  I may go and start cleaning the car out at lunch, or just pull it in the back yard tonight and start the process of getting everything out and cleaning it.  I already started washing everything making sure that the smell isn't in any of my clothes or jackets.   I didn't smoke in the house so that is a BIG help on this.  Next week is time to get the yard cleaned and get all those cig. butts out of my yard!! so then the entire house and yard will be ready for the return of my little man..  Hopefully my sister as a roommate soon also.

Hey Lori!

Way to go!  You really are keeping a great Positive Mental Attitude about your quit and that is exactly what you need to be a successful non-smoker!!!  Wow...  just think of that for a few minutes...  you're now a NON-SMOKER!!!  Just keep saying N. O. P. E.  to yourself !!!

I had another thought for you about your upcoming trip to MO... Another thing that will help you while in your car is having it not smell like smoke anymore!  Maybe one of your milestone rewards could be to get your car detailed before the trip!!!  Especially, have the inside carpets and upholstry cleaned to get rid of the cigarette smell!!  You could even do that yourself and spray down all the cloth materials with Fabreeze or something like that to eliminate that smokey smell!

You're doing great so far!!!  Keep up that great quit you have going!

Okay I am on Day 3 today and I am feeling pretty good about this!  No major cravings yet, just eatting to much candy.  I haven't really even thought about smoking much at all. I have been spending my breaks at work running around the office gossiping, and my nights at home cleaning and having people over to keep me busy.    My nights are the worst part of the day.  Also, talking on the phone outside is hard because I normally am smoking.  I walked into my corner store by work and everyone was happy and shocked that i didn't buy any cigs or scratch-offs this morning.   I used to spend more on scratch-off then I did on smoking.  I figured I would use the scratch-offs as a reward.  There is a new $2 dollar one I want to try my luck on, but I must wait for my first week is done.
