New here and trying again to quit!

15 years ago 0 1 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everybody!
I'm Jackie, and after 35 years of smoking, I am once more trying to quit! I've been there about 7 or 8 times, , even made it just past a year once. But, well, life happened I guess is the quickest and easiest way to put it!
I am a heavy smoker. Yesterday at 4 pm, I was halfway through a cig when I realized I wasn't really enjoying it. So I put it out, and haven't lit up since. Wish it was as easy as it sounds! I currently have a piece of Thrive gum 'parked' in my mouth. While that does help, I am itching to hold a cigarette between my fingers, and puff away! Miss my skinny white 'friend'!
My hubby, who also smokes, has not yet noticed I have stopped. I'm wondering how long it will take him to notice!
Anyways, I am glad I found this site. I  really am working at making it this time!
