Reward? Yes! maybe some paper plates? ;p You've got it right, Jan, it does get easier. Just take some deep breaths and time outs when you can! Congrats on your 4 days! Jan, Take a long bath or go for a nice walk to help release some of the stress. Maybe it's time for a little weekend getaway to leave some of the 'real-life' chores behind. Be extra-nice to yourself. Brenna, Bilingual Health Educator

Jan - We can all relate - withdrawal certainly involves some whopper mood swings, irritability, and very little frustration tolerance. I remember throwing a fit over things like a lightbulb going out, my newspaper not being delivered, and a train being 5 minutes late! You said "But right now...I'm a bear.". That's not so bad...I know a pretty great Bear! ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 340 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,900 Amount Saved: $2,210.00 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 23 Mins: 15 Seconds: 24

Hi You could try taking some really old dishes into the garage and breaking them to release the stress. Crying always worked for me, a good 5 min. cry and all was back to normal! Good Luck, you can do this. Cigarettes Not Smoked

But I'll live. As I read here before, "withdrawal won't kill me, smoking will." I know these symptoms will eventually go away, I've experienced it first hand. But right now...I'm a bear. Everything seems stressful at the moment. Even the littlest things that wouldn't normally bother me. A full dishwasher that needs to be unloaded. Aggghhhh! How crazy is that? Its such a Godsend that every day gets a little bit better. I think I'll buy myself a treat today! Have a good one, Cheers, Jan :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/27/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 75 Amount Saved: $25.50 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 2 Seconds: 25
