lola,

Congratulations on making the decision to quit. You've come to a great place! You'll find a lot of great information as well as supportive members that have gone through similar situations and experiences. When ready, please start working through the program and set your coping strategies for the weeks to come. Don't forget that we're always here so please post often!

All the best,

Hi lola, welcome to SSC.  So glad you decided to post.  Take this journey one small step at a time.  Rest when possible, drink plenty of water, deep breathing(I found that to really help), and find some great distractions.
Any withdrawal symptoms you're feeling now are only TEMPORARY.  It honestly does get better.
Wishing you the best,
Jan

Welcome Lola, so glad you found us. Like Karren stated, Sassy covered it all, and it is all true.  We all experience emotions with or without a smoke, you can just see clearer without the smoke.  Congratulations on 5 days...that is wonderful.
