Well, here in WI I did have to risk my life coming into work...but I will NOT be going back outside for any other reason today..especially to smoke.  We are at about 4-6 inches already and its supposed to snow all day.  Can't wait to get home and snow blow the driveway.

Yippee, I don't smoke though.

Kelly

Yeah cameless,

Like 4 inches on the shoreline up to 12 inches in Litchfield.

Enjoy it, it's grey here in London - no change there then!

We're expecting a pretty good snow here in Connecticut today. Its nice not to have to worry about running out of cigs or risking life and limb having to drive somewhere to get some. The last thing I want to do this weekend is smoke.
Hanging in there with all of you!

At -21 without the windchill, I'm so glad I'm not outside smoking.  Southern Ontario's going to get walloped with snow today, but 4 hours north we're getting freezing cold!  No puffing for me......

I am in on the no smoking weekend promise! At about 11pm tonight, EST, I will have 14 days without cigarettes! Hell and Heck week are done, the start of this week was tough but it got better... Well, as better as it can get! My Lyric Posting seems to be enjoyed so you'll probably get a lot of Dylan from me! Not only is he my favorite, his lyrics are the best. So, in honor of all of us who ended Hell/Heck weeks recently, or ever, AND are about to get socked in with some snow, I give you a little something from Dylan's Blood on The Tracks:
I was burned out from exhaustion, buried in the hail,
Poisoned in the bushes an' blown out on the trail,
Hunted like a crocodile, ravaged in the corn.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."

Oh the weather outside is frightful... Here in the US, major winter storms are affecting most of the country.  Today is forecasted to be one of the busiest travel days too.  I will not let the weather, last minute shopping, last minute shoppers, packed malls, crazy traffic, nor any other stressful event affect me.  I promise not to smoke this weekend!  Greetings of the Seasons from Columbus, Ohio!!!

It's that time of the week again!

But this weekend is special, it's the last weekend before Christmas.

For many in the UK, this will be their last day at work until well after the New Year. But many others (including me) will be working right up to Christmas Eve.

The roads will be busy this afternoon, with Christmas shoppers mingling with commuters leaving work early and children being picked up after their last day at school.

Tempers might fray in the jams - but whatever happens, I won't be lighting up in Sussex!

Please join with me in promising not to smoke this weekend.
