In need of prayers

Helllo Kaiser,

Glad you are back at work and thinking of you especially on the 8th. If an other radiologist had the same opinion it is a good sign.

Dear Kaiser,
A small sigh of relief, I will be waiting for the BIG SIGH on the 8th. I am glad you are well enough to go back to work and grateful you checked in. I have been worry and praying and then decide to give it to the LORD, as I could not do anything for you anyway.
Take good care quit buddy and let us know your progress as you can??
Love to ya,
Pupikat

My Dear Kaiser,

You will certianly be in my prayers and thoughts. I have to believe that the Radiologist is more experienced at x-ray reading as well--and I would keep that close in my thoughts as you wait this thing out. I have gone through some 'yucky' stuff this year from a health prespective and the best thing to do is keep busy and keep chasing the negtive thoughts away or you can drive yourself crazy. My son-in-law had a similiar experience in the winter of 08, and it turned out to be a pneumonia, and the 'multiple' spots did reslove.

Sending healing thoughts and positive vibes your way,
Deb

Hey Kaiser!!!

I'm here praying for my Buffalo Buddy!!!  I'm also thinking like Pat...  most radiologists know their stuff, but we're probably gonna have to wait for all of the results to come back before we start doing some serious freaking out!!  I had a scare like that about 2 years ago!  I had had a baseline chest x-ray taken in '96 when I first started this glassblowing job and 2 years ago had another one that showed a couple "spots" on my lung!!!  I started freaking right then and there and consequently started on one of my quits then!  I had a CT taken and then had to have another taken 3 months later to see if there was any growth!  Well, thank God!!!  Well, the spots turned out to be scar tissue, maybe from the job, but the thing is you can't jump to conclusions early on in the process!1!

Keep a positive mental attitude going through all of this, because it could turn out to be nothing!!!  And if it does turn out to be bad news, keeping a positive attitude will make it so much easier to go through for everyone, especially you!!!

You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers, buddy!  Keep us informed when you get a chance!!

         Jim

Oh Dear Kaiser,
I am praying for you so hard. I know how frightening it can be to have something serious wrong and not sure of anything. I also know how lonely it is being in the hospital on a  holiday. Just know that my heart is with you my quit bud, and I will be spending a lot of time talking to our Father this weekend, asking for a healing...
In the mean time Kaiser old friend, please be careful out on the roads today,... I hear that they are shooting turkeys!!! lol. Well that is my sorry attempt at humor.
Lots of Love my Friend,
Pupikat

Kaiser,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I think the radiologist is correct...he reads tons and tons of exrays and will have seen enough information in yours to make his professional determination with assurance or he wouldn't have made any statement at all.  Your family doctor may have a different opinion because of experiences not related to you.  Just know doctors try to prepare us for some things that don't happen (like when they explain the risks before surgeries).  I'm sure they took blood from you...cancer markers should show up in your blood (though I don't know how long it takes for blood results to come back).  Try not to jump to conclusions until all your doctors have reached a concensus.

The exray on the 8th will tell you the score...if they really thought it was cancer.  I also think you'd already be scheduled for biopsy or other tests if there was much doubt.  Hang tough, even though it's worriesome, you'll know very soon.
All my best,
Pat
