Was the Tuesday chemo hard, Lolly?  You're too quiet over there.  Can you tell us how you're doing? I know it's exhausting but we're all thinking about you and this trial you're going through.

Hi Lolly,
Glad you're taking good care of yourself.  And yes that Nintendo DS can be a lifesaver.  I bought one for my husband when he had knee replacement this summer.
Keep those white blood cells going strong!!!!!

Take care,

Jan

Hi, Lolly.

I think that Bonnie has a good idea when she suggests using a mask when in company to avoid other people's bugs. I know that I would do so. It's perfect for disguising my muttering at the smokers who blow clouds of crap around just outside the hospital doors! Harummmmph!
One way of dealing with the boredom while in isolation is to memorize a favourite sonnet. I haven't done it for years but I can still stumble through Hopkin's The Windhover in my mind and revel in the music of his language any time I get bored with staring at a cream coloured wall....

I'm glad you're out of the hospital Lolly.  Isolation sounds awful-- especially without books!

Your strength amazes me, as well as your spirit.  You are such a beautiful person.
