Lolly - Support!

17 years ago 0 382 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Guys,

This is a no smoking support site, so I won't take up too much time, but I just want to ask for your thoughts and prayers now my treatment is going to begin next week.

My diagnosis is confirmed....a high grade, rare Sarcoma with a poor prognosis unless it can be removed surgically....which it cannot be right now.  I must have about 6 months of chemotherapy, beginning on Monday.  Unfortunately many (and mine) Sarcomas do not respond well to chemo, but we have to try to shrink it so that surgery may be a possibility.  Radiation therapy may not be an option.

In spite of the poor prognosis, I remain positive in order to give my body as much chance as possible to fight this thing!!!  It's what helped me through my quit, and with your help and support, I will remain upbeat through this next battle.

NEVER LOOK BACK.  THE FUTURE IS AHEAD!!!

Love Lolly.
