Astrofan -

It is cool. NOT smoking is COOL!

Whoa - what's that up ahead? It looks like an exit ramp that says cruise ship? Am I really half way to the ship already? Boy I can't wait to get to the beach.......

I think I'll take my dog for a walk!! I'm sure he'll like it.

C'mon Darth, let's go boy!!!

Seriously though, I really do have a lot more energy all of a sudden. I feel like climbing a mountain or two. I guess muscles that have a complete oxygen supply work a lot better than those that don't.

I talked about my back surgery in another post, I was smoking then. I didn't smoke for three days after the operation, I couldn't leave the floor so I couldn't get outside. When I finally did have that smoke, I got dizzy and believe it or not, it made my back feel achy, right where they worked on me. I mentioned it to the doc and he did say it was the drop in oxygen in my blood that caused that feeling and he strongly suggested I quit.

The effects of a cigarette are both immediate and long term. I don't want to forget that. I like this new energy level a lot and I don't want to go back to the old way again.

I'm at day 25 and I feel good!

How is everyone else doing today?
