Maybe I set my quit date too soon

Pupikat,

Welcome and know that you have to do this for you.  There is never going to be a right time, but perhaps you can set a quit date and work your way up to it.  The program and milestones can help you get started on cutting back and giving you knowledge about this addiction.

Think of all the extra time you will have if you quit.  You can use this to take care of yourself and get back what you have missed.  Our thoughts are with you and your family and we are ready when you are.

hi everyone,
Today is my quit day, and though I have not smoked, I just dont feel ready to quit yet. There is still a lot on my plate I am trying to cope with, such as, My 73 year old mother got home from the hospital 2 weeks ago after having cancer surgery, and I am trying to take care of her, even though I myself am fighting my own health problems. I think I jumped the gun and set my quit date too soon considering all that is going on now. I am not sure what I am going to do. I want a successfull quit. I am going to quit.
Thanks for listening
Pupikat
