Thanks everyone for the good wishes and thoughts.
My wife just finished reading the Secret.  She is convinced it is the real deal.
She says I can beat this.  She says we can survive anything.
A doctor once told her, the patients attitude is more than 50 percent of the success.
She isn't about to let me go without a fight, she's a real tiger.
Going for another biopsy tomorrow.  Won't know until next Monday all the results.
We are waiting for my wifes approval from the insurance company.
I have to see myself as a non-smoker, and cancer free.  With my wife reminding me, because she is
seeing this too, we will be successful.  Our sons and family and friends are all in this with us, with all of you
as well.  We cannot help but succeed this time.
Will keep in touch.
All my best to all of you, keep thinking "I am a non-smoker"

Hey Smokiejoe!!!

Welcome back!!!!  It's great to see that you are taking some time to prepare yourself well and I hope that your wife is doing the same!!  You know the 6 P's....   Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance!!!

I think one of the main things in your preparation needs to be you mental preparation!  Quitting really was the hardest thing that I have ever done in my life!!!  I spent months building up to this quit and really had to prepare myself mentally for it!  It was my Positive Mental Attitude going into this quit that has helped me the most, as well as the support from this site!!!

Good Luck and just yell if you need anything!!!  We're here for ya!!

Haven't been on in almost eight months.
Now I have an extreme reason to quit.
A one inch tumor was found on my right lung.
Now if ever there was a reason to quit  this is it!
My wife is joining too.  She needs it more than me she gets short of breath.
So we start again, almost made it last time.
This time I know I will make it.
So if your having a hard time, think of me.  Remember it could happen to you.
So before you get really bad news. stop.  As hard as it is, we know we will.
Good Luck to all of you.
