Scary & so tired

Hi Moonbeam, I hope things have straightened out a bit for you since that post. Believe me, I know what you're going through. I have been in an insomnia/panicky state for almost two weeks. The Xanax is good to help you relax and fall asleep. Don't be afraid to take it. It only lasts 4 hours and is probably one of the best things, I find, to get you out of that "heartbeaty" state. My Dr. doesn't like me to take it however, because I take Klonopin too and mixing benzos is not a good plan although I've done it & here I am still alive! Why can't we just be tired when we're tired, right? Why must the panic feed the insomnia and the insomnia feed the panic? I'm going to try Lunesta tonight (it's a new sleeping aid). I'll let you know how it works out although I'm like you & afraid to take things. But if you're suffering, tell yourself that this drug is going to help me. It's like taking an advil for a headache. We musn't be afraid. Hope you'll respond & hope you're feeling better.

Hey Moonbeam Does'nt the tiredness of anxiety just suck. I have real problems with getting cold when I have anxiety to. I always watch movies at home with a blanket so I dont get to cold. But when Im over at a friends house and there are no blankets I want one so bad even almost to the point where I think I need one. Sounds kinda dumb hey lol. I hope its just anxiety that is making you feel cold and not something else. Take care Moonbeam

I had a panic/anxiety episode at 1 am this morning. I've been having trouble sleeping and I notice that my anxiety seems more frequent/worse when I'm tired, so not being able to sleep well doesn't help, which I think is what happened. I turned off the light & rolled over to try & sleep, but felt my heart thump thump thump, freaked over it thinking i was having heart problems, and there I went. I have Xanax but part of my problem is I'm afraid to take anything. So I managed to only take a very tiny crumb of it. I'm so tired of going through anxiety. After I got the initial adrenaline rush (which for me signals here's the start of the attack) i was SO cold. I was shivering and shuddering & I took my temperature. It had dropped to 93.5. So now I'm wondering if there's something actually physically wrong/going on & it's not just psychosomatic. Soo..I made an appt with an internest for a physical, etc for next week.
