ICL,

Thanks for the update. Stay strong and focused on your quit through this hard time.Take some time off and keep on rewarding yourself for all of your accomplishments.

Another Good job to you Paula.  I hope things start to mellow out for you shortly.  It is good that you are having a positive influence on people, regardless if they realize it or not.  You keep going strong and take care of yourself.

Hey,

Thought I'd fill you in on the latest! Didn't smoke, can't believe it but I didn't! Had a chat with the boyfriend yesterday, was what i thought. he's not happy with himself when he looks in the mirror, self -esteem and self confidence is low and thinks I deserve better than him. Few other hard things from years ago still affect him that he doesn't talk about etc but realises now he needs to try deal with it somehow so says he's going to go and talk to someone and work through his problems. I said that I was prepared to be there for him and support him while he's doing that. So we wait and see what happens. I think I did trigger something because of my quit, he is very overweight and has become more conscious of it now that he sees that impossible and hard is actually possible and rewarding.

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 5/26/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 37
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 851
Amount Saved: 321.25
Life Gained:
Days: 2 Hrs: 11 Mins: 17 Seconds: 54
