I know that feeling, Lolly! You want the damn thing out right now! A decade ago I'd have been very impatient and have gone for a 2nd opinion... ahhh, the impulsiveness that led me into smoking and all the other addictions...  I don't doubt that the radiation treatments of today are a good deal more sophisticated than those of my youth... so, may you get to the operation ASAP!  Great news about the lack of metastisis... rooting for you.  Kepp us posted, Lolly.

Hi All,

I thought I'd create a new thread as the other (The Big C.) was a bit bulky.  I saw my surgeon yesterday and he is not keen to operate right now as my breathing is so bad.  We do not know if it is a build up of fluid again or something else, so I have to have another CT Scan on Friday to compare with the first.  If it is fluid, he may agree to operate, otherwise they will try to shrink the tumour first.  Chemo is not an option yet as they still do not know the exact cell type, so I think it would be radiation.

Yet another week passes!!!  As all of you, who have done this, will know, the waiting is the hardest part!  For the first time, I was a bit down last night.....I have the tumour and no brain or body metasases, so I want it OUT!

Anyway, sense prevails today....As with quitting....One day at a time......remain strong and positive....and things will work out.

Love Lolly.
