Tresa: Day 9 and hanging in there. My coughing is down to almost non-existant.
Robash: Hang in there. We all make mistakes and have setbacks now and again. The important thing is to put it aside and move on. I was always told that you can start your day over again any time you want. Sometimes I start my day over 50 times in one day. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. Just keep plugging along. I've found this site tremendously helpful. At least while I'm typing or reading, I'm not thinking about smoking. Lisa

Hello to you too Karren! Happy to see you still hanging in there too! Is it getting easier now? No matter what we thought in the beginning we are making it, doing it, kicking the nicodemons butt! Your stats look GREAT!
Robash, ML is right, take it moment by moment.. you will get there! Congrats on restarting your quit, it takes determination to make it stick and if you fall off, just have to get up, dust yourself off and try again... Good luck and stay strong!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!
Congratulations to everyone!!!

Even though I hit a rough patch recently, I'm still hanging in there. Love to see my quit meter keep going up and it and everyone here gives me incentive to stay on the straight and narrow. Besides, I love the rewards!
Robash, even though you stopped and started again, as long as you take it one day, heck one minute, at a time, you'll be fine. I'm not much of a poster either but the good folks here have plenty of good advice and I read a lot just as you. Congrats on not giving up on quitting. I wish you every success.

I am a newbie. I had quit smoking for 3 weeks and then secretly started again, BIG mistake. Then I found this place and began my quit again on 6/21/08. I am hanging in there but I have to say it has not been as easy as the first time. Wish I would have stayed strong because I would have been a lot further in my quit than I am now, but I am confident I will make it work this time. I come here often and read, read, read. I am not a big poster, but just want to say Thanks to all my fellow quitters it is wonderful to have a place like this to come to.
