June Hall Of Fame!

It sure is nice to have all you wonderful people here supporting me and each other.  SSC rocks!!!

I've been busy this past week with sewing projects, gardening and doctor's appointments.  Everything looks good regarding my health...no big changes in my auto-immune disorder (CREST syndrome) so all is well with me.  Now if we could only have the sun shine and nice warm weather.

Ladybugg your stats blow me away!!!  What an inspiration you are to all of us.  Very nicely done to you and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to you.  Thanks for continuing to help us newbies.

Stickin...thank you for all your fantastic posts.  You've given me (and all of us here) so much great advice, wisdom and encouragement.

Martha you are wise beyond your years.  You're right on the money about us fumbling through this journey but we're not alone at SSC.  Thanks for guiding so many of us!

Mr. Ed you've gone above and beyond keeping track of all our stats in addition to all your sound advice and encouragement.  There's never been a more positive horse, of course, of course.

John you've done so much good here for so many of us.  The money is a big incentive to quit and stay quit.  Our other savings make the money look unimportant in the whole scheme of quitting though, don't you think?

Tresa, you're a gem here and in all our quits.  Your encouragement is second to none.  Thanks for helping me find my big girl panties .  I hope your computer never quits again.

Phil!!!  Hope you enjoyed your holiday mate...how are you???  I was just keeping your seat warm until you got back, honest.  Thanks for all your help during those sleepless nights in the early days of my quit.  Tuesday sure is great!

BC, my friend, I love you too...but I think you're the shiny example of all that's beautiful and good.  I'm proud of how you've made your quit look so effortless.  Get ready to celebrate your first year...there's going to be a huge party.  I'll bring a giant chocolate mousse cake!

Thanks again for your support everyone.
Enjoy your smoke free days!

Pat

Wow, you are all just so amazing!

Honestly I never realized just how many of my quit "era", those who were ahead of our time and those climbing aboard the quit train after us are succeeding at beating the tar out of this addiction.  Do you think the success rate of quitters here at SSC is the highest around?  I do, but I guess the stats are a trade secret.

I'm shocked that any of my posts from so long ago are still here, let alone that people are still reading them.  Just goes to show you...post what you're feeling, thinking, are going through or have a plan for and you never know who can benefit from it (even yourself).

Alohakeia, Thanks, that's high praise coming from someone of your caliber...right back atcha woman!  I hope you're enjoying "the wonderfulness of smokefree lives" as much as I am.

Goofy, Your support to others here is second to none.  Keep up your great quit and your wonderful attitude.

Lady, my mentor and my namesake.  Your support has made a huge difference in my quit and in my life.  I can't thank you enough for being there for me at every turn.  You are a real  in my books.

Jules, those 22 days are worth their weight in gold...you're doing so great!!!  You've gotten through the roughest part of you quit, CONGRATULATIONS!

Ahhh Stormy, how good to see you and just look at your awesome stats.  Your encouragement has been greatly appreciated.  I always admired how you took your quit in stride plus I seem to remember some fun watching movies and pj parties with friends.  :)

Astrofan/mike, Thanks, I see you're posting lots so you're helping many people too!  Keep up the great quit you've got going.

Deb, Wow, look at those beautiful 94 days!  I wish I could write half as well as some of the quitters who've inspired me.  The current people are posting some really amazing stuff.  If you ever have time to do searches for old posts, may I suggest anything by Duffis, Golferman, Shevie, N2K, Bubba, Rusty, Lolly, Penitent, Luna, (ok some of you are still posting, but your older stuff was great too) and ......oh my gosh the list is so long and I've barely scratched the surface!

Audrey, Thanks for your friendship, your encouragement, your advice and your caring.  I've been taking notes from you and watching your numbers grow since the day I got here...kudos on your job well done.

Den, you're doing so well with your quit and helping tons of people along the way!  Congratualtions to you too and I hope you're keeping your good self rewarded too!!

Jim, I just love your sense of humour (that's Canuck spelling of humor for all the Americans here).  Look at you cruising past 90 days, way to go!  Don't worry, I'll be checking in as often as possible to see what's happening so try to keep everyone on the straight and narrow ok?

Jan I remember your kind words and wonderful advice helping me since day 1.  I'm so glad you're here making this your final quit.  I'm so proud of you but not nearly as proud as you should be of yourself!  My hat's off to you girl.

Grin look at you so close celebrating your first year smoke free.  You should be very proud.  Love your positive attitude "Loving life without smoking!" is a wonderful tag line.

Thanks again everyone and please take care of your quits.  A very wise man once wrote "quits don't just fall out of the air, people make them happen".

Pat
