The coffee is a strange one for me.  Some days I can drink it no problem and the next day it brings on the craves like crazy.  Still haven't figured that one out?  I certainly have more energy in the morning since quitting, whether I have my coffee or not.

Hi ML in case you check back in.  And Freedom too.  I'll start a No-ember check in next week so we can all touch base.  and Kelly remember you are still a No-ember.

Till next time

Moss

Good going, Kelly.  Good weekend, new job.  Congrats on both.  You've come a long way and seem more comfortable with your quit and, more importantly, yourself.  You sound more relaxed and sure of yourself.  A new beginning is not a bad thing.  You deserve it.  Carpe diem.

Yes, I did make it through, it was a little tough at times, but I made it.  Sounds like you did too.  I have had a few more good days and am learning to cope differenlty I guess.  I drank some starbucks coffee today, stupid..brings on the anxiety, which brings on the crave thoughts...but,  I know how to beat it, my own stupid fault.  Anyway, glad to hear from you, I am so happy things are that much better for you, maybe when I get to 190 I will be even better too.

Thanks Moss...

Kelly

Hi A1 Kelly

Just wanted to check in with you and catch up a little.  Things have been pretty good on my end. How did your weekend go around the smokers?  I spent Memorial Day at a campfire sitting between 2 smokers.  I have to admit it brought on some strong thoughts but I was able to get past it.

I am getting the feeling from your posts here that things have improved some for you.  I hope that you are doing well.  Check in if you've a mind to and let me know how you are.

Thanks for the replies, I posted this before I went home last night from work and just logged in now.  What a nice bunch of friends I have.  I must say, I am nervous, I have been in my current job for 11 years, so that change is stressful, but what I am doing is not.  So happy day!!

Hi Kelly, glad to hear that you are doing well.  Congrats on the job!  Things like this can be life changing...especially if it offers less stress!  I am confident that this is a good thing for you and that the challenge will be right up your alley.  Remember even though it may be less money the other rewards may far overpower that.  Challenges/obstacles, etc. are sometimes a blessing in disguise.  Starting a new job will keep you focused and busy so that you don't even have time to think about cigs!  Good luck and keep up posted!

Have a great day! Hugs!

Natalie
