feeling like my skin is crawling

Drink lots of cold water... day 4 and 9 I think were bad ones for me.. but it gets better. you can try pushing at the base of your thumbs.. one at a time.. use some pressure points. some of my triggers were getting hungry or tired, so if you can munch on something.. I also read lavendar scent is calming, so if you can find some lavendar spray or a little sachet, and the smell of peppermint is supposed to help give you energy... Hang in there.. it will go away, and if it gets to you phone your Dr and explain the situation, they may be able to give you medication to help you through this........ Nettie, I used to get really, really bad anxiety attacks, and that was the feeling I had associated with them. Not sure if that is what you are/were having, but I know that feeling. Take care, if it doesn't get better, see a doctor for some anti anxiety meds, if you really need them. Indeed! Nettie, This symptom is uncommon among new quitters. For today you may find it helpful to take more, shorter breaks to help you refocus. If you can't leave your desk, take a stretch break. Moderating your caffeine intake may also help. Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Hey Nettie!!! If you can't sit still, get up and MOVE!!! The nico-demon is pulling out all of his weapons to try to get you to smoke again!!! Fight that urge!! I used to get up and walk the stairs when I got those feelings my first couple of weeks!!! Up 4 long flights of stairs and back down!!!! Breathing very deeply, in rhythm with my steps, clearing my mind as I took each step really helped!!! You are doing just great!!! Keep saying NO to the demon! You CAN do this, keep focused and think only positive thoughts!!!
