Personally, I've had to take on the mantra that "If it' weren't this, there would be something else." Life ain't stress-free, and since there will always be stressors, I can only control how I react to them.
I'm on day 18 here, and I quit at the end of my college semester (during final projects, reviews, and exams), and the end of my first year of teaching (where my kids are driving me insane!). It would have been too much for me in the past, but for some reason, this time, it's easier. Who'd have thought? But I think it is because I've changed my thinking around regarding stress, and my life is so much easier for it.
