Hi Luna!!! I'm sending you a HUGE Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you for taking the time to send us a great inspirational post! When I first read it, I was almost ready to just jump in there and send a quickie congrats and move on to the next post. Then I got interrupted and had to wait for a more opportune time for a response. I have gone over your realizations and one in particular stood out and that was #12... "12) Helping others. The more I reached out to others and put into words what I was doing and feeling and thinking, the stronger my own commitment was." I have always considered myself a Helper to others... I have always had a service type job and it has always been important to me to help others!!! I guess that is why I am on here so much.... the helper in me wanting to do my part and pay my dues for the help that I have received. You are right, Luna, I think that it does make my own commitment to quit that much stronger!!! Although I haven't necessarily putting into words what I am feeling or what I have felt going throught this process too much, I do hope that by being supportive of other's quits, it does in some way help! Maybe as time goes on, I'll be able to open up more and be able to share more of my thoughts and feelings, but it probably won't happen!!! ;) Anyways, time to end my babbling... my oven is hot so it's time to fix some glassware!!!! Thanks again for your post and once again Congrats on your great quit!!! My dear Luna, I'm proud of you! And your last line..."This is my life I am fighting for. I want to live..." made me think that you live more in one day than many live in their whole lives. Thanks for staying in touch and keeping us a part of it all.
