So very sorry for my blunder! Thinking always gets me in trouble! Dang, I hate it when that happens!

You could print out the threads that have facts about smoking and give them to him. You know, like the effects of nicotine and the quitting process. The stuff that makes it so hard to keep smoking once you know it? All the 3000+ chemicals that are in them? And what they do to your body? There is something to be said about reading it, as opposed to someone telling you about it, too. And son telling father, well, might as well try to stem the tide...but you are an inspiration and a role model to him, and how cool is that?!
Hugs, Denise

Fighter,
For some, this type of program is not for them. If you do want to help him along, you can print off the exercises in your glove compartment for him.

The past 16 days of my quit has really encouraged my father to quit smoking as well. I'm not sure that he is really ready to quit and he refuses to get on this website, yet he sais that he really wants to quit. Any suggestions?
