Hi, Denise. Welcome back. :)
Nicotine hijacks the brain's reward/pleasure centers and provides them with continuous stimulation. When you quit, you go into a "reward deficit" which manifests as depression. I've bumped the Rewards, Nicotine, and the Brain thread that explains it in more detail.
Make sure you monitor yourself, Denise. Better yet, have a friend monitor you. Wellbutrin does not guarantee you won't experience depression again. I know.
I wish you strength and hope in your upcoming quit. Stay close. :)
Shevie
