Hi Meg.. didn't get much computer time in today to read many posts.. Just before 30 and just before 50. I had some strange days.. I am off the Chantix.. no bad craves... just some roller coaster emotions.. it seems to have mellowed out. Have a GREAT dinner, and remember it is your reward.. and when you go out you will smell nice, the food will smell and taste good.. And TGIF.... happy day to you My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 54 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 918 Amount Saved: $183.60 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 17 Mins: 26 Seconds: 2

My evening is good. I'm feeling good! Today...not so much. It was like a rollercoaster. I didn't feel any motivation at all. Moody, just plain moody! And then, like a cloud had been lifted, I did some laundry, took the dogs to vet for their shots, and forgot how moody I was! Tonight, I feel like a different person. Have a great evening all, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/27/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 67 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,675 Amount Saved: $569.50 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 16 Mins: 55 Seconds: 10

Oh, golly, I know what you mean! Last night I nearly bit my husband's head off when he was trying to be thoughtful! Trying is the key word, LOL! But it does pass, especially if we have a little laugh at ourselves. I told him, I'm sorry, I just need to get over myself, and not take myself so seriously. It's true, you know, I can be happy or sad or glad or mad, it's my choice. Today I'm choosing to be happy - I don't know what tomorrow will bring, yesterday is gone, so all I have is Happy Today! I wish you a Happy Today, too! I'm happy to see that you have made it this far. By all means reward yourself well. Glad you are here. Hi Blue Cloud and thanks....hubby is taking me out to dinner Saturday. Friday is 4 weeks and Monday is one month, so we settled on Saturday for dinner. I've always been a crier, but so much more so since I quit. Glad to know it will eventually get better. Hey Meg, Your coming up on a big milestone. One month. I was just like that. would break out in tears for almost no reason. It took me a few days to get past the marker days for the first 6 months. May not take you as long but it seemed like forever to me and then one day I was just better. I mean really better. My emotions have really settled down. In fact a few things have happened that I know I have handled better because of what I learned in the process of quitting smoking. You are changing your life. It will get much better.I didn't realize how much a crutch that smoke was, or how much it used my self confidence each time I smoked. I am so glad I quit. I will have 9 months tomorrow. I still can feel the milestone thing but it is more like a reminder now.
