Hi Faith, Those milestone craves are as bad as those stress craves or those remember when craves. Seems like there are all kinds and they sneak up on you when you least expect it. The "I can have just One" is the worse. Alot of people on the site are having thier one year celebrations and every one (almost) have reported craves. They say you have to go through all 4 seasons at least once before they leave you alone. I know it gets better. My stomach used to hurt. That don't happen any more. They are much futher apart now. I can transfer my thoughts quicker now. Practise makes perfect. Hey Faith Stay Strong! You have been strong this long and I want to continue to follow in your foot steps and if you quit your quit I won't be able to do that. So, If it helps, think of me, looking to take my next step and having no foot step to go to. I know you can get thru this. Hi Faith, You can do this and pull yourself out of it. I celebrated one year yesterday and went through what you are going through many times. You need to be committed to the quit and stay close to the site. This is the place you need to be right now. Let me say congratulations to you on 90 days smoke free it is another milestone to celebrate. Deep breaths lots of cold water and the SSC. Well, I'm just a few hours from celebrating ninety days smokefree and all I can think are Junkie Thoughts! This has actually been going on for a day or two now and the intensity of the Junkie Thinking is kind of taking me by surprise. Especially this thought ... "you can quit again later" Or ... "smoking wasn't THAT bad" It's like I'm stuck in the pit of obsession but the good part is that I WILL NOT PICK UP!!! I've been aware that this might happen at this point in my quit so I'll just pull out all my coping mechanisms from my first few weeks and carry on, one minute at a time if that's what it takes. I promised myself that NO MATTER how uncomfortable it got ... mentally, physically or emotionally I would not smoke. Boy, I really do hope this passes soon! :) Faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 89 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,225 Amount Saved: $1,068.00 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 4 Mins: 51 Seconds: 49
