Ichooselife,
I love your name and all the positive thoughts it brings to your quit. Sounds like you're having a rough time today but please don't give up after all you've accomplished. Hang in there...your junkie might natter away but you can and will get past this.
Smoking will never make you enjoy yourself, it will only make you crave another smoke. Smoking does not relieve stress or anger...you know all this. You are not denying yourself anything at all, you are choosing life. You are not miserable...your junkie is.
Maybe it's time to turn the tables on your junkie and choose a wonderful new reward for a job well done??? How about a trip to the grocery store for something sinfully delicious or a long luxurious soak in a candlelit bathroom, fragrant bubbles foaming in the tub, beautiful music playing softly and a nice glass of bubbly to sip on? You've worked too hard to do anything but stomp all over this nasty addiction and have some real fun!!!
Hang in there. It will get better soon. I promise.
:)
Pat
