Day 23 Today!

BJ I'm glad you brought that up. I just realized I don't feel any different today with .5mg than I did with 1mg. That's a very good thing. I should be able to get off of these things real easy. Hi Terry, What a small world :) I am still working at the manufacturing company and doing good. My boss will pay me $100 if I stay smoke free for one year. I plan on staying smoke free for the rest of my life but I'll still take the $100. Congrats again on day 23 and here's to many more smoke free days ahead. Maybe I'll see you around ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/7/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 24 Amount Saved: $6.16 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 57 Seconds: 31

Jim is he single? If so, I'll start looking for him. LOL Kathy I do work for a construction company. You were working in the center cubicle I believe if you are who I am thinking of. We've only had one person back here in accounting helping out and that was probably you. I hope you are doing well. Hey Kathymeg! Congrats, sounds like you are doing fine!!! Keep up the good work and fight that demon!!! I've got 5 whole days behind me and it seems to be getting easier all the time... sort of!!! Soon we'll have a week behind us, then 2 then we'll be caught up to where Terry and BJ are!!! Just remember, one day at a time!!! Hey Terry! I have been thinking about getting off the Chantix by the end of the first pack, so i'm thinking about tapering off after this coming weekend. Please keep me updated on your progress and way to go, girl!!! PS... Ever see my cousin out there in Denver? Hi KathyMeg.. day 4 is BIG.. I have read here it takes about 4 days to get the nicotine out of your system. so you are doing great.. just read and post ... the people here have been somuch help and just seeing the stats and the days ahead of mine have been an inspiration... and I am so shocked at my own.. and remember how big the 20 day ones looked. Terry I am little ahead of you.. so far so good.. just normal.. craves that don't seem to last long, and can be distracted. Thanks Terry and you are right...every other time I have quit I haven't even made it through 1 day let alone 4!! I feel great today. And by the way, I think I know you....summer of 2005 I worked for a very short time for a construction company? Was that you that I am thinking of? Your picture is sooo familiar. 4 Days is a great acheivment. Don't ever think of it as ONLY 4 days. You are doing wonderful. That's what I looked at in the beginning. Those people ahead of me by just a couple of weeks were much easier to associate with. It definitely is an attainable goal, so keep marching forward today this Monday Parade! Terry:) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 220 Amount Saved: $33.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 13 Mins: 26 Seconds: 13
