Good to hear that, BJ! You've really got the hang of the Quit when you can stand in front of a bank of grocery store cigarettes and just, silently, pay for your Chinese and the Sticky Bun and walk out go home to the goats and the microwave! Love that about you! A will like a rock...

BJ, That is huge! It means you passed the test! You can make it through a stressful time without a cigarette! Lesson learned, so now next time it will be easier! You will make it! You just proved it to yourself! I would say that Brownie was some wonderful reward!

Thank you all for being here. I KNOW for fact if I didn't belong to this site I WOULD have MORE than likely ... blown it today.
John is in Arizona (half through his visit). Mom's 2nd chemo treatment was today. I went to the shop ...No call ... I called his cell... NO answer.. finally around 4 pm I called my stepdaughter. everything was ok. He called about 20 minutes later. he had forgotton his cell phone when they left and had another Dr appointment after the chemo.
I let myself get too hungry.. and it was a long day at the shop, and I was very tired. I really wanted a cigarette when I hit the car. I focused on going to the bank.. it was closed. so I went to the grocery store deli and got take out dinner.. while driving I was thinking of each of you and your replies, your quits.. days, months, year... deep breathing (from DL) Nozzley things.. etc. by the time I hit the deli all I could think of was sweet and sour chicken and a potsticker. I spotted a single serving container.. a big ole' brownie with white icing and a cherry... I said that one is MINE.. the 20 minute ride home was fine as I could smell the sweet and sour chicken and ... think of that yummmy potsticker... LOL
I let the dogs out, cleaned and sarted the pellet stove, fed the dogs. changed clothes... and made my plate and gave it a short zap in the micro wave.
i MADE IT BECAUSE OF YOU
