ICL, not sure what you have done with those cigarettes and butts, but do get rid of them now. Soak then, tear them to little pieces, flush them, just don't smoke them. I come from a place where just having a butt around with a puff or two would do me in. If you really want this quit you must get rid of them. I have been trying to quit longer than I care to tell you, but I have quit. Now what are you doing with smoking company in your house? If you have quit, then tell them that you can not put you quit in danger by having them smoke in you home. I couldn't and I won't. They can step outside and then tell them to shred those butts or take them with them. I am dead serious. How much do you really want this quit? Kill the monster. ICL I believe that you do want those cigarettes now. Nicotine is an incredibly addictive substance. Also we have taught ourselves to rely on its effects to make us feel better. If you keep them around eventually you will smoke them. Once you smoke them, you will be very disappointed in the effect it has on you. And more to the point you will be most disappointed in yourself for not breaking the cycle. That is what this is all about. We are breaking the cycle of addiction that keeps us in the mind set that you are experiencing now. Would you not like to be free of that mind set? You can be, just as many here are, but first you MUST throw the cigarettes away... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 427 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,810 Amount Saved: $4,483.50 Life Gained: Days: 79 Hrs: 16 Mins: 38 Seconds: 8

ICL - THROW THEM OUT!!! Trust me you don't want them. 11 days! You are doing great. Keep the quit. Besides, this relapse/slipping/sucky train i'm on, has no vacancies! Chunk em and spray some smell good stuff in your house! STOP THINK AND THROW THEM OUT. TAKE IT FROM ONE WHO HAS BEEN THERE. IN A MINUTE YOU WILL BE SAYING I CAN HAVE JUST ONE AND THEN YOU ARE BACK TO SMOKING FULL TIME. TAKE THOSE THINGS TO THE SINK AND SOAK THEM IN WATER. Sooo sorry to hear that you are going thru this. You MUST throw out any cigarettes that you found smoked or not. get rid of them NOW. You have gone thru the hardest days and you don't want to go back! Remember you are strong and you can do this. Use air freshener, open windows and get rid of the dirty ashtrays etc. If you still have a dirty ashtray, hold it real close to your nose and take a deep breath, i guarantee you won't want one after that. If that doesn't work, wet your finger, run it thru the ashtray and then put your finger in your mouth - do you want a cigarette now?! Do what you have to - just don't smoke! I guarantee that if you take a taste of that ashtray and realize what you are smoking you won't want a cigarette! Stay Strong!!
