Good luck to you both, Kristilu and Rockstar, you'll both make it. Altering your environment - even a bit - is good for the new mind; helps to push the 'old mind' further into obscurity, I think. You're doing great rockstar! I'm hanging in. Drinking water every time I turn around and eating jolly ranchers. Beating that craving one at a time. havin' a bit of a time of it to be truthful...but, i learn by doing and fear of hypocrasy and "people need me" are the motivators i used to "get off the steets." eight years ago...they were great coping mechanisms then. i try and focus on my strengths and i am on the sccc reading more that writing...today i am cleaning up my house. and where i use to have a smoke to mark progress now im chewing gum like a madman. But i keep in mnd that one of the "high milers" said its like once we've said no to enough triggers the "craving" passes more easily..but,i still need to clean my house and leave buildings and so i keep eating massive amounts of chocolate, drinking lakefulls of water and posting away...by the way thats a big fat 31 days to your credit!! thats something i aspire to... but im pretty proud of my 12 (full) days. And, how are YOU doing Ms Rockstar?? You're such a natural people-person; I can see you being great help and support to the folks who come in here for shelter from the bs world of nicotine... Welcome Booling. checking in. I have been outside most of the day. We have over 50 degrees today. I got the herb garden ready (hubby rototilled it) and I weeded the whole brick area around the herb garden....... I did not get out of breath. I only thought one time about stopping for a cigaette.. and said You don't smoke.. and went back after some weeds and grass.. The bricks are all tidy. I didn't feel like cooking.. so we had pizza for dinner...( a frozen one... we live in rural area.. and NO one delivers out here.) Happy Sunday to each and every one.
