yeah, i've just seen a few people say they were leaving and it makes me sad, because i look forward to their posts. But, i know the others will continue forward and we'll all get thru this. I'm getting excited about tomorrow. I'm going to get up early and go walking. I know I have battles tomorrow at work and at home, but they'll be there whether I'm smoking or not, so deep breath, and here I go. All the best tomorrow Kristilu! There were afew times that I got discouraged when there were disagreements in the room but I do believe that the strength of our relationships is stronger than the disagreements. I would never have succeeded without the support, advice and fun from SCC. Kristilu, That sounds like a great plan. Lets all try to get along and keep our focus on smoking cessation while offering support that we all like and need. Sylvie, Bilingual Health Educator

Hey Kristilu, glad to see you back at it! You can do this! People are people and some times, things get a bit heated or carried away, don't worry about it. Keep on fighting your fight, all you have to do is go one day at a time! Just don't smoke for today! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 342 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,550 Amount Saved: $3,608.10 Life Gained: Days: 44 Hrs: 22 Mins: 10 Seconds: 44

Kristilu, Just wanted to wish you all the very best for the start of your quit tomorrow. The board can get a little heated sometimes !! But at the end of the day, we are all here to offer support. The most important thing is that we quit ~ however we do it! Think positive Kristilu ~ you can do this! Rachel :) Three years, eleven months, one week, five days, 21 hours, 35 minutes and 8 seconds. 28857 cigarettes not smoked, saving 6,493.05. Life saved: 14 weeks, 2 days, 4 hours, 45 minutes.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

I've spent this weekend really gearing up for my quit on Monday,so I've been catching up on the boards. And I have to say, I am disappointed that there is so much bickering going on. So much jabbing and arguing. I think it's wonderful that we can come on here and vent when we need to, about whatever is driving us to nearly cave to the crave. But, why are people picking fights on here about how u quit, how long u've quit etc. It doesn't matter how you've quit. The important thing is that you quit. For the newbies and for people like me who have been trying to quit, we don't want to see people jabbing each other, we need a support group. And everyone on here is part of it. You don't have to like what people say or how they say it or how they quit it.... But you don't have to put them down for it, especially people who have maintained their quit... Can't we all just get along??? I love you peoples!!
