As soon as Eli Manning somehow escaped the sack on 3rd and five, threw the "Hail Mary" to the stars which Tyree somehow came up with despite the attentions of the gifted Rodney Harrison, I knew the writing was on the wall and the name Giants was on the cup. At 2.48 a.m. GMT here in London I should have gone to bed then, instead of hurting myself further. I chose to see it through. I don't know why, but I love not having to go outside in the cold or hot weather to smoke.. This was the first SuperBowl that: (1) I was able to watch without missing a handful of 10 minute segments - I use to have to go outside to smoke. (2) I was able to watch and focus on the game (and fun commercials) instead of being distracted by the plotting of when to get my next nicotine fix. (3) I was able to sit between 2 people on the couch without being embarrassed by reeking of smoke!
