Gen I'd have you know that my mother was an honourable fishwife and the reference to her perfume is something she'd have been proud of! She was a card-carrying cod-gutter and a dab of cod liver behind each ear in the late afternoon was all she ever needed to enhance her brave personality. She was real easy to shop for at Christmas... Changing... thanks for the kind words. Well done Daily, Lang may yer mum reek. But no you. That is something approximating a Scottish half Haiku!! Oh. and a joke. Congratulations anyway. WITHOUT YOU GUYS I WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR!!!! Thanks to all of you for the support... when I get a little freaky I log-in and I calm down right away... Hell week is done (as of midnight last night since I blew my actual Quit Day of Thursday last week and only quit on the Friday, next day!) Blue Cloud... The saying is an anglicized, phonetic version of the Japanese (not a poem but seen in Japan as an affecting piece of simple writing close to the 17 syllable Haiku) "Very many things remind us of cherry blossom". Dasie and Jazz - as newbies also, I wish you toughness and resolve in your quit. And, ALL you Long-Quitters who've been keeping your eyes open and your hearts in gear, thanks again for getting me through the first week! I think a lot of the accolades have to go to Chantix/Champix and the rest go to this site for it's wisdom and support. Now, it's on to Heck Week - more oxygen, more sleep, more sanity... Mr Ed, thanks for the boost !!! Ah Daily, I was ready to hit the hay and was just lurking tonight but when I saw this WAMBAMBOOZLE I was so over the moon I can't find the words :) So so so happy to see you making it! One week, THE week, the killer week and you've kicked it's ash. Keep on trucking friend, I want to see that 365 under your name in the next eleven-and-then-some months. x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 388 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,924 Amount Saved: 2,134.00 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 1 Mins: 52 Seconds: 13
