We lost my Father in Law this week, after a very long battle of three different kinds of cancer. He had been bedridden for eighteen months, but died at home with his family, as he wanted. So we are not sad, we are preparing to celebrate his life, and being Thankful that his pain has ended.(He smoked as long as he could, but none of his cancers were smoking related.)
This all happening just as my four year old Grandson announce that he is "going to be a big brother", because my daughter is expecting.
So the Circle of Life continues on.
So for all you Newbies, I haven't even had a craving so far, and if I do, I know what to do, deep breaths, and gum or a straw will get me through it.
One thing I have learned after quitting so many times is that smoking does not make any event feel better for any reason, not matter what!
