Thanks, Stickin! Yay me! :) You're right. If you don't entertain the thought it just goes away and becomes more like a flicker. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 150 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,500 Amount Saved: $877.50 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 13 Mins: 57 Seconds: 5

Reaching for that purse or tugging on that shirt pocket? Better to keep busy and work in the substitutes. You can endure and you can develop and keep the attitude. Nope, Im not going down that road. Im going to stay quit and Im going to make it, yes I am. And when you keep on keeping on, the point comes, like Gonna Do It just got through saying, you loose track of the days. Now thats a goal, normalcy! You will be tempted and tested over and over again, but it gets easier as you travel down the road. The more often that you say no, the better equipped you are to say no the next time and the next time after that. Make up your mind to do it and then follow through. Remember one less cigarette, one less nail in your coffin. Btw, congratulation Kelly day 150! I have a friend who quit about 5 years ago. After I quit for about six months, I asked my friend this question, Do you ever thing about smoking? He was quite surprised by the question. He paused and thought for a couple of seconds, and then he replied with a simple answer No. And the message, I do believe there is one. Give up on them and they will give up on you.
